  My wife and I were huge fans of the TV show, which was vastly underrated. Fox dropped it, so why not give Whedon a crack? I think he'd do some interesting, unusual things with the concept, which still has plenty of life in it, though you wouldn't have guessed that if you've seen the last craptastic film.

    I never saw the show, but I can't imagine how it couldn't get better if Whedon took it over, he just has the right idea most of the time.
